Growing up in a small, tight-knit town taught me that community is everything. It was never just about the game It was about the deeper side of sport , the confidence it builds, the connections it creates, and the belonging it gives you.
That love of sport took me far. I played netball at academy and representative level and went on to coach at university nationals. But no matter how far I went, I always carried that small-town sense of community with me.
That's exactly why Mana feels like home. The moment I walked in, I felt that same warmth — people genuinely looking out for each other, where everyone is supported. Getting to be part of that every day, helping people move, grow, and feel good in themselves, is something I genuinely love.
