HEAR FROM ONE OF OUR CURRENT MASTERS PLAYERS THAT FOLLOWED OUR PROGRAM:
“I grew up exercising non stop for sport. I felt like that was all I did through my teens and early 20's. It was good for sport and was always purpose driven.
The moment the sport stopped and the purpose stopped, I fell out of love with exercising and keeping fit.
I have had periods where it got better (and worse) but never really sustained.
As I've gotten older, I've realised the impact it was having on me both in how I function daily, and how I felt about myself.
I have started playing rugby again and have recreated the purpose I need to get fit and strong again.
I am pleased with the fact that my body seems to have held up well over the years but now needs to be kicked into action again”
"In December 2017 we moved from Vancouver to Melbourne. We immediately found a rugby club for the kids to play for, and after a 10 year hiatus I strapped on the boots and gave Masters Rugby a try. It was hard going after such a long layoff.
Half way through the season we meet with Jose and Mana Fitness. Initially I just had my son going for strength. Then the off season hit and I started attending 2 x HITT sessions a week to try and build some stamina for the next rugby season. Let.me tell you it worked. Those 2 sessions a week allowed me to make preseason fitness training with the club and drop not only 10kg but several cm around the waistline.
A once a week session during the season has made this my best year of rugby in the past 20 years. Thank you Jose and Anna and Mana Fitness. Maybe this off season I'll hit 3 session"
